Meet Jennifer BROCK
Born on a 100 acre farm in southern Ontario, Jennifer has always been a country girl at heart. In her teen years, her family moved to central northern Ontario where she lived and worked on a Marina on Baptiste Lake. Jennifer’s past times through high school involved fishing, boating, ATVing, hunting treks, and wilderness hiking. Later on Jennifer worked for 3 years with Algonquin Search & Rescue at the Special Service Force's base CFB Petawawa, Ontario. She then went to post-secondary for Recreational Leadership & Fitness.
Jennifer’s professional career moved her to Toronto where she worked in Recreation for 4 years before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia where she worked in fast paced professional high tech corporations. There she learned promotional techniques, administration, finance and she put her energy and drive into everything she did.
After 7 years on the coast Jennifer moved back home with her mom and got into the family business of Real Estate, bring a great combination of professional and technological experience along with her love for rural property to the table.
Her personal motto: “Where her Jeep goes, Jennifer goes ... and beyond.”
Jennifer is most at home walking or riding through wilderness forests and rolling hayfields, she has a photographic memory for land which makes her a most valuable resource when viewing country properties. Jennifer’s high tech knowledge allows her to market a property to new levels not yet seen in the area by other Realtors. This website is an exampe of that. Her clients get ortho maps, multiple photos, slide shows, analytic reports and these things and more give her listings more punch for prospective buyers then others listings in the area. Jennifer is the original and front runner in the area, when it comes to giving you the most online information about her properties, everyone else just follows.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys training and riding her horses through the countryside, swimming, skiing, and just about any activity outside. For quiet times Jennifer enjoys painting, watching movies, reading classic novels from authors such as Hans Christian Anderson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, JRR Tolkien and many others.
Jennifer is also a member of the SCA, (Society of Creative Anachronism) which is an international society for the education and recreation of medieval studies and is an active member in her local group. She also teaches and competes in Historical Rapier Fencing (think Pirates of the Caribbean) and studies at the Vancouver based dueling school Academie Duello. Jennifer also enjoys medieval dancing, equestrian events, and archery with the society. Jennifer was an original member of the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department and believes in public service in rural areas. She is also a member of the Bridesville Community Club and the Kettle Valley Wildlife Association (aka the Rock Creek Rod & Gun Club) and is an active participant at various local events. Diane and Jennifer together are current members of the BC Cattlemen's Association.
